Costa
Adeje This
course is situated 5km from Playa de las Americas. It is an
18-hole 72 par course with spectacular views, which take in
the mountain range of Adeje and the island of La Gomera.
The Course, designed by Pepe Gancedo, has large greens with
a number of doglegs, and is integrated with stonewalls from
former banana plantations that make it truly unique. Bunkers
wait to catch balls that stray off the tee on the first, which
is long par five at 510m. The second is most difficult when
the flag is placed at the back as the green is formed on two
levels. The green on the fourteenth is uphill and is protected
by a deep bunker in front. The eighteenth is a par five and
is accessible in two as it is downhill although; most play
it in three strokes to make sure they avoid the water.
There is a pleasant clubhouse and bar with rental facilities
for clubs, carts and trolleys. The practise facilities include
driving range, putting and chipping green.
